ANOTHER SURGERY!!





Well today I went back in for surgery again. My tubes kept stopping up and so Dr. belmont want to due some new tubes and remove my adenoids. So at 6:45 this morning we headed to the hospital. I didn't really realize what was going on until they put me in the hospital gown, but right after that they gave me some happy medicine to make it easier on me leaving my parents and I was ok. The surgery took about 30 minutes and then I was done. Dr. Belmont was some what concerned since he had had me on amoxicillin to prevent any ear infections before the surgery and when he got in the my left ear was really really bad and my right ear had the middle ear so inflamed that it was touching the old tube so he could not put the new one in the same place. So he got all that taken care of and took out my adenoids which were infected just like my left ear. In recovery, I felt so much better and I was still pretty drugged up so all I wanted to do was to sleep. So for most of today I have slept. A few times I have gotten up and walked around like a happy drunk, which has been pretty funny. Thanks to everyone for all the thoughts and prayers for me today!

FIRST SNOW OF 2009
I liked the sledding so much that when we came in I would not take off my snow suit and kept whining to go back out and play, but mommy and dadda wouldn't let me since I have been so sick.

Here I am with mommy in the kitchen. I saw her cooking so I got a spoon out of the drawer (all by myself.. mommy didn't know I could do that) and she let me sit next to her and help make some vegetable soup for dinner. I love cooking!!

Nap Times
Recently I have been claiming some of the seats around the house. If some one is sitting in my seat I climb in the laps and then move around behind them and push them out. However the past couple of days I have gotten so comfy there that I have fallen asleep in those spots.

Here I am this morning on the couch and I had pulled the blanket over my head so no one would see me sleeping.


Yesterday mommy was cleaning my room when I climbed up in my chair and fell asleep on Elmo.

FIRST TRIP TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM
Last night I had my first trip to the ER. I had had a rough week to begin with, Tuesday I went to my Ear, nose and throat doctor and my tubes were clogged so I had to be tied down for the doctor to open them. Then while I was at Children's Hospital, my regular doctor had asked me to get blood taken to see how my immune system was since I had had so many ear infections..which it all came back good accept my respiratory systems immunity was slightly lower then normal so I need to be careful when I get a cold. Anyways back to my Emergency room visit, Wednesday I got sent home from school with a temp of 102, then yesterday I had a fever for most of the day. Last night about 7:30 pm mom and dad took my temp and it as 104.5 so we called the doctor's office and got ready to head to the ER, but they called back and said no that we were still safe in the 104s it as only if it got over 105 that we needed to go. So I fell asleep in moms arms downstairs and at about 11:00 she started to take me to my bed and noticed I was really hot. She took my temp and hen it hit 105.3 she took it out even though it was not done and we headed to the emergency room. Once we got there they took me right back, ordered blood work and a chest xray and then started and IV. It seemed like they were running every test possible and I had already had a strep test earlier in the day at my doctors office. And everything came back negative. So finally around 4 am the doctor came and said there might be a little bronchial pnuemonia, but he didn't sound all that sure. So we still don't really know what I have had, it may have been just some kind of nasty virus.. we just don't know. Our doctor is suppose to be reviewing all the test and letting us know if she finds anything.

MY VACCUM
Some of you may know how I love to clean.. I love vaccums, brooms, anything I can push around on the floor. So dadda went by the toy store today and got me a vaccum.. I have had so much fun tonight with it. I have one at school just like this one, but this one is all mine.. I LOVE IT!!

NEW YEARS
As you can see in the picture at the bottom of this post Mommy and Dadda had a great New Years Eve and so I decided to have a great New Years Day and keep them on their toys all day. I got into everything possible.
