First Snow! and Christmas Preparations

This morning we got our first snow of the season and it was about 2 inches.. which is a lot for this early so I hope that means we might get a lot more this year. MJ had a ball in it. When he woke up finally at 9 am he and Neyland stood at the door forever just watching.. it was the cutest thing! Then Mike took MJ out and the boys that live diagonally from us started a snow ball fight with them, but Mj held his own pretty well.











Christmas preparations have begun. the trees are up, stockings are hung, and we have made a gingerbread train.. Do we need anything else?!?!

Thanksgiving and Fantasy of Trees

This is our one and only Thanksgiving picture this year. I kind of forgot to take any more, but at least I got a picture of Mj in his outfit.

On Saturday after Thanksgiving MJ and I went with my mother-in-law and her twin sister, my niece and nephew went to the Fantasy of Trees. First MJ rode the Carousel which I rode beside him but he would not let me hold on to him. He loved it so much and did so well riding it.

Next we went by a great picture spot so we had to take some pictures.



They had an area for kids to work off some energy I guess.. it was just for preschoolers. They had cars that the kids rode around crashing into each other. I think MJ was one of the few that was actually preschool age, but he was probably the roughest of the bunch.

MJ's second favorite part of the day.. THE TRAIN. He loved playing on this with Maggie and Knox.. however we did have some fighting when it was time to get off.
